The next morning when you start your browser again, the sneakers are everywhere! The Internet knows what you bought/searched/looked at today, yesterday, and even last week. What if the online world takes over our human control?  Nobody’s safe. There is no escape.

Stalked by an ad is a (fake) horror movie trailer for the modern age by the UCB comedy troop Pocketwatch.



Our virtuality becomes our reality. When the social web hunts down our desires and interests, we see them everywhere in advertisements in our offline life. It looks like they are framing us, sending filtered information specific to us with our interests. This trailer exaggerates perfectly where we might be going to the upcoming decade, our online identity extended to our offline personality. Inline, offline, online, onlife… it’s everywhere!
